Herbs and Herb Spirals: September 19. 9AM-1PM.
An herb spiral is an excellent addition for both small and large gardens. It retains moisture, creates multiple micro-climates, is compact and attractive too. Place it close to your kitchen door and you’ll have herbs galore to flavor your favorite dishes. We’ll start this workshop by building a small, 4’ wide herb spiral. After that we’ll study basic culinary and medicinal herbs. We’ll cover growth habits, care and maintenance and harvesting techniques. You’ll leave this workshop with new skills and knowledge – ready to launch yourself into the world of herbs! Donation $50 per person. |
