Residential Landscape Design

Karen teams her training as a landscape designer with her extensive gardening experience at Kenwood Permaculture. Ever conscious of how plants grow and change throughout the seasons, Karen creates designs that are thoughtfully arranged for seasonal beauty, maximum productivity and maintenance ease. 

Producing a residential landscape design is a multi-step process and Karen has incorporated flexibility into every stage to allow for customizing when needed. Rather than just offer a fixed menu of options, she is happy to work with clients personally to assess their individual needs and budget requirements and proved design process alternatives determined to be best suited to each client’s unique situation. At every phase Karen ensures that the homeowner’s wishes are met, the design choices are appropriate and realistic for the site, and the resulting design documents provide clear and accurate information for the homeowner and landscape installer/contractor.
