Garden Workshops

WorkshopsAll workshops are held at Kenwood Permaculture in Kenwood, CA.   To find out how to register for a course click here. We have a five-person minimum and a 15-person maximum for all workshops.  Workshops are listed below in chronological order.

2010 Winter Workshop/Speaking Schedule:

Jan 30 - Embracing Sustainability Seminar. Location: The San Francisco Botanical Garden (SFBG).  This is an exciting full day sustainable gardening seminar led by Glenn Keator, Ph.D and Don Mahoney, Ph.D.  During my segment I'll be speaking about soil management and water use issues such as swaling, gray water and rain harvesting.   8AM to 4PM.

March 13 - Late Winter Sustainable Garden Tour (sponsored by San Francisco Botanical Garden Society.) Location: Kenwood Permaculture.  Join us on a trip to Kenwood Permaculture in Kenwood, California for an in depth look at a living, breathing permaculture garden. This garden tour and lecture will introduce you to the principles and design concepts of this rapidly growing sustainable gardening movement. After just a few years this site has been transformed from a dry, thistle-infested slope into a richly productive and verdant garden. 10AM to 1:30PM.
